Inventors Defense Alliance Files Amicus Brief in EcoFactor, Inc. v. Google LLC

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Inventors Defense Alliance filed an amicus brief in EcoFactor, Inc. v Google LLC.

In the amicus brief, the IDA argues that it is essential that admissibility thresholds for damages experts properly reflect the standard set by Rule 702 and Daubert, among other concerns.

“The potential compensation patentees may obtain through a damages verdict is crucial to ensuring that patentees can pursue their rights and obtain the funding necessary to do so.”
